Daphne Bar Soap, Tar, 90g

Daphne bar soaps are made using a cold process, during which an attempt has been made not to "injure" the useful active ingredients added to the soap.

When modeling soap recipes, the goal is to achieve good foaming and softness of the soap, skin-friendliness and low consumption. This is not so much through the wide nomenclature of fats or exotic origin, but through precise selection. This approach makes it possible to use locally sourced rapeseed oil in soaps in addition to the well-known beauty oils - coconut and olive oil - and to once again raise the honor of pig fat - the raw material of soap making valued by our grandparents - which has now ungratefully sunk into oblivion. The mixture of oils used for soap making contains almost 60% of unsaturated fatty acids.

Daphne soaps have a modest fragrance, which is given to them by water extracts or oil extracts made from plants and natural essential oils. Therefore, they should be especially suitable for people who do not like strongly scented soaps. We make herbal infusions and oil extracts by ourselves following good old traditions. If possible, immediately before soap making.

Daphne soaps are manufactured without the use of synthetic surfactants, additional dyes, or synthetic or nature-identical fragrances.

Made from high-quality coconut, olive and rapeseed oils and lard, the long-lasting handmade soap cleans well with a nice creamy lather and cares for the skin. In addition to natural moisturizing glycerin, the soap is enriched with tar, which has been used in Estonia for generations to alleviate various skin problems (eczema, allergic rashes, psoriasis, cracked skin, etc.).
